Communication network construction scenarios are becoming increasingly diverse, and standard communication towers can hardly fully adapt to complex terrain, climatic conditions and equipment mounting requirements. Customized galvanized steel communication towers have become a vital option for project implementation. Main tower types include four-legged microwave guyed towers, tubular guyed towers and lattice guyed masts. They are widely deployed in rural, mountainous and suburban areas with sufficient land space to support 4G/5G base stations, microwave transmission, broadcast signals and other services.

Customization is more than simple dimension adjustment and requires comprehensive consideration of site conditions. Structurally, tower height can be modified according to signal coverage. The typical height ranges from 10 to 90 meters, and towers for special projects can reach up to 180 meters. The overall structure is optimized in line with local wind pressure and seismic requirements to withstand wind speeds of 30 m/s and above.

Material anti-corrosion treatment is the core of customization. Substrate steel grades including Q235, Q355 and Q420 are available. Hot-dip galvanizing is adopted for general projects with a minimum zinc coating thickness of 86μm to guarantee a service life of over 30 years. For coastal sites with heavy salt spray or high temperature and humidity environments, upgraded galvanizing specifications, grade 8.8 corrosion-resistant bolts and waterproof sealed connections are applied to boost anti-corrosion performance.

Cross arms and brackets can be customized as required. The tower is pre-designed with antenna mounting positions, cable routing systems and access platforms, together with complete earthing and lightning protection systems. Modular segmented prefabrication facilitates long-distance transportation and rapid on-site assembly.

Custom towers avoid extra costs caused by over-engineering while balancing safety, service life and project budgets. Nevertheless, site survey and complete engineering drawings are required in the early stage. Finished towers shall comply with local communication infrastructure standards to ensure stable long-term operation.
